Hi! My name is Ms. Walliczek (Wall-a-check) and I'm looking forward to introducing your child to their band instrument this year. I've taught instrumental, general, and vocal music to grades K-12 in New Jersey and Delaware for the past 18 years. 

Your family has made such a smart decision in supporting your child in their music education. Did you know that in addition to the aesthetic enjoyment of creating music, our ensembles also foster teamwork, boost self confidence, and grow and develop creativity? Playing a musical instrument helps your child develop fine motor skills, a stronger working memory, and stronger abstract reasoning than students who don't study an instrument. And, students involved in music outperform others significantly in proficiency in both math and language arts and develop higher competency and fluency in reading and writing. Participating in our music program will also give your child a place to belong.
